Therapeutic Approach and Modalities
Nadia is an active and compassionate therapist who values transparency and collaboration with her patients. Her goal is to help patients have a better understanding of themselves, unlock their strengths, overcome 'stuckness,' and authentically connect with their loved ones.
Unique to her work: Over the last decade, Nadia has been successfully adapting psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy to working with neurodivergent adults and couples. Most traditional therapy modalities were created without neurodivergence in mind. In her approach, Nadia identifies and integrates neuro-cognitive differences into treatment to create new life narratives, recognize strengths, and compassionately address challenges.

Personal Note
I have lived on three continents and speak three languages, which has shaped the culturally informed approach I bring to my clinical work and helps me appreciate the differences in people's minds, experiences, and ways of navigating the world.
During my training as a clinical psychologist, I came to better understand my own neurodivergence and the many ways in which I had been coping, masking, and compensating before realizing that different does not mean less than.
I am also the parent of a neurodivergent child and have a deeply personal understanding of what it is like to grow up and function within a society and educational system that was not created for your type of mind.
I am dedicated to helping my patients through their journeys of self-discovery, moving away from stress and confusion toward greater self-understanding and the ability to recognize and use their unique strengths and talents.
