Natalie is a psychotherapist who brings both clinical training and deep personal investment to her work. She is a firm believer that a patient's identities are valuable in therapy — and approaches every session with the curiosity and empathy needed to genuinely meet patients where they are.

She guides with curiosity and empathy — helping patients navigate their feelings, thoughts, and life experiences while following their lead and honoring their process in treatment.

Therapeutic Approach and Modalities

Natalie advocates for her patients' concerns and life experiences. She values the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for safety and support — creating a non-judgmental, empathetic space where patients feel genuinely heard. She follows her patients' lead to build trust and honor their process in treatment.

Unique to her work: When applicable, Natalie brings a culturally responsive lens to her work — acknowledging and integrating the collectivistic cultural perspective that many of her patients carry. She recognizes that for many BIPOC patients, navigating mental health stigma in order to pursue therapy is itself an act of strength and resilience, and she honors that fully.

Personal Note

As a first-generation Latina who has been continuously exposed to mental health stigma, I know how important it is for patients to feel safe, understood, and genuinely seen. I bring my Spanish — and my Spanglish — into the room to connect with patients and to acknowledge the real hardships experienced within BIPOC communities.
